We are not a racing kennel but do from time to time keep on a few dogs to race age ourselves or for owners who wish their pups to gain some experience on Irish tracks before export. We aim to offer a full puppy whelping, rearing and schooling service in our modern purpose built kennels. All areas of the rearing stages are separate.

The whelping block

With free access to an outside gated concrete area leading on to a grassed paddock kept solely for the use of pups under 14-16 weeks.

Puppy/sapling runs

The block built houses are within an enclosed concrete paddock, gated and leading on to long grassed runs, also gated and leading on to either the gallop or open field for free exercise.

Main kennel block

Consisting of 14 double kennels, separate kitchen area and treatment area. Outside concrete emptying out paddocks, covered emptying out area, access to gallop and paddock.

The Kennel is also fortunate in being well situated for easy access to a number of gallops and schooling tracks with Donaskeigh and Mullinahone close by, where pups gain their first experience, then on to the nearby race tracks once safely coming out of the traps.

As with all breeders we attempt to plan our breeding programme ahead but as we all know it doesn't always go to plan, hence we may from time to time have space available to take in pups or brood bitches for whelping. However as we have said on other pages we aim to keep our dogs at a level that they receive our best possible attention thus we have to refuse placement purely on grounds of space and for no other reason, we sincerely hope this doesn't cause offence to those we have to turn away and will always try to recommend another facility.
